SANGAY GLASS

Sangay Glass

As a dyslexic mom with two learning disabled (LD) teens, Sangay began researching and writing about the different ways parents and caregivers can help teach LD kids skills beyond the classroom in her web series, Colorful Minds.

She and Rak Nay have also teamed up to create a manga series for reluctant readers and colorful minds based on the Arcanom fantasy series for school and home use.

Sangay admits Rak Nay is the genus behind the Arcanom fantasy series, which was originally written in Brazilian Portuguese. They both have a love of lore and legend, and it’s their mission and pleasure to bring this wonderful series to a global audience of all reading abilities.

By profession, Sangay is a registered nurse with a strong counseling background. She worked in a psychiatric hospital for nine years and worked for the Chief of Obstetrics in a county hospital counseling teens and new moms.

Sangay uses her expertise to write articles geared toward teens and their parents covering issues of sexuality, sexual health and relationships. She also writes inspirational true stories for magazines and books.

 RAK M NAY

Rak NayBefore Rak M Nay even learned to write, he was already creating stories and drawing Comic Books. His love of entertaining began early at six-years-old when he began to act in amateur plays and make fanzines with his older brother.

As a freelancer he created illustrations and wrote short stories in small newspapers and magazines. He continued in the theater as a stand-up comedian, acting, directing and writing plays. He also gained some experience as animator and filmmaker.

Years ago Rak’s passion for his work made him a workaholic, which led to procrastination and a bout of depression. During this dark time he began to write a serial in the internet with direct communication to readers and fanfic writers. That helped Arcanom evolve from a small idea to the actual story.

Because of growing censorship in Brazil from communists politicians who manipulate the media. He began to translate his work into English and began a search for native English speaker to make a partner to adapt the work.

Sangay Glass has not only helped in the English adaptation, she has became a co-writer and put her personal magic in the story, shaping characters, creating subplots and marvelous sequences, making Arcanom what is today.
